Today, December 23, 2023, a discussion workshop was held to review a general policy paper on “The Problems and Challenges that Women Face While Dealing with the Security Aspect,” which was implemented by the Sitaq Organization for Youth and Development in cooperation with the Civil Coalition for Peace CAP, and with funding from the PAX organization.
Human rights activists, security sectors, and representatives of civil society and the local authority participated in the workshop. The paper is one of the important tools in diagnosing problems and challenges, which contributes to shedding light on those challenges and problems and thus helping the relevant authorities, most notably the Taiz Security Police Department, in overcoming them and working on I solved it. Note that this workshop comes within the framework of the efforts of the Siaq Organization to improve security services and enhance their inclusion for all segments of society, specifically women.
